Dear Hayden,

Tonight, on the way to the fireworks show in Solvang, you lost your first tooth. You really lost it! It came out of your mouth and fell into the road, and we couldn’t find it! I had to stop and take your picture and everyone was with us — it was a really fun moment! You are such a big girl now… you’ve grown up in a flash right before our very eyes. I remember how excited I was when that tooth came in when you were 6 months old… now you are almost 6 years old and it came out! You are so excited to have the tooth fairy visit when we get home!
